Very relaxing and quiet at VIR www.virclub.com I wanted to come up a little early and just have some time to reflect and get ready for the weekend. Also to figure out where the future may take me. When I think of how much has been accomplished through way more than just my hard work, but others support, the feeling is unbeleivable.

There is so much more to learn in this roadracing game. Wrapping up this season will bring 6 years of racing in my life. So many people have contributed in more ays than they know and I hope everyone can say they have stood on the podium with me You all have if you did not know it. At times before, during, and after races it hits me that this is real and it is happening.

This weekend is going to have some more great BMW riders coming from all over not just to enjoy the sights and sounds of the Boxer (K bike too this weekend!), but to also share in the fun f being a BMW motorcycle owner. The facility here is hands down the best inthe country. Why? Because of the VIR Lodge (hotel) on the infield, the suites above the garages, the Go Kart track that is second to none (new 9hp Karts!), and amazing scenery. The staff at the track aslo has the professionalism needed to be the best with great southern hospitality! Oooops, cannot forget about "Aunt Millies!" the best little secret in the South! Pizza and Ice Cream (what I call traction control! lol) that is out of this world.

Ok enough for now about just why this is my favorite place. Tomorrow I am going to visit Danville's Tank Museum. The largest collection of armor in the world I am told. Then check out the awesome Private Security forces training center here. Some awesome stuff goes down in the training, from driving to shooting.

Cheers,

HUGE thank you for the turn out at Summit Point for the ASRA Natl. races this past weekend. My BMW Motorcycles of Atlanta prepared R1200S's ran flawlessly! The Morton's BMW hospitality area was just awesome, AGAIN! BMWBMW.org of D.C. was in full force and we did a couple parade laps at lunch! The RTP demo I rode for the parde laps was really cool and the sirens and lights and all made me realzie why Cops get all giddy when they use them! lol

Mr. and Mrs. Massey, Kris and the boys, Tina, Jim, Elsie, Carlos, all the BMW family and to many to list, thank you for the enthusiasm! COuldnt hear youse screaming in T7, but everyone around did! lol

See youse at VIR next week! Go Karts @ VIR?! Who wants some?!

Had a great day testing/practicing at Barber Motorsports Park yesterday (Birmingham, AL), left Atlanta for Chicago today, and heading to WV on Wed. as soon as I land for the ASRA Pro Thunderbike Natl.

Details to follow for the PR event here in Chicago. Will be fun, I can say though! My BMW MC of Atlanta prepared/powered R1200S's re just flat out flying. It has been awhile since I last raced a K1200R Power Cup bike. Most say how they do not enjoy i o the track at all, but I think it's great! Awesome perfromance streetbike, on the track it makes you earn every inch of pavement though. Not by any means to hard to go fast on, just challenges your comprehension on how chassis and suspension work at speed. In 2006 we were able to pull off 2 wins in Unlimited Superbike, one at a new track for us. Just awesome the way it pulls and pulls and pulls.... The bike has great power all the way through.

Have to admit that my R bike skills are semi lost for about 2 laps trying to get readjusted from the K bike. You get used to the power and it's amazing how much I didnt realize how alot of guys just love to pull the trigger and blast down the straights, but man you really can carry some decent cornerspeed on the K bike.

Ok kinda rambling, I know I have been rather tardy by not posting here, but I have had some tough decisions to make lately and doing whats right and for the better has taken alot of time.
It's all good though, love our bikes and riders!

Cheers,
