Another evening here in Kennesaw, GA. I now realize I have to many winter clotehs for this neck of the woods. Its just warm each day, so far. As I wait for my bikes to be ready here, I am attempting to help get ur season together for 2007. As I contemplate what kind of truck and trailer to use, I also wondered if there were BMW MOA or BMW riders out there that are principals or management at a truck dealership?! After season of racing I have seen what works and does not on race trailers, as that is the least of my worries. Nothing to big, but nothing to outgrow during the season either.

With the great time I had at Heartland park in Topeka, KS this past season, there is a real ineterest in going back there and putting it on the pole (not second fastest) , winning, and hanging out with the great BMW mc owners like Dave Mootz, Bill Mundis, and Kevin Nixon...
Some awesome people in many cool places, yes KS has some cool parts, lol.

Im really looking forward to the practice this weekend and then gettin out to CA. for the two IMS shows in Long Beach and San Mateo. Would love to alos know what can be done to our R1200S to get a little more power ou tof it for the races at Daytona in March, SJBMW have the knowledge, just need to share! ;)

Thanksgiving eh?! I know many of you have already traveled to and from your families today. I wish for everyone to stay safe and that we all remember what we are thankful for?!
I am in Atlanta now for a bit just getting ready for my season in 2007. Training, practicing (4 tracks within 3 hours), and traveling to IMS shows. There will be a bit to get sorted before the east coast IMS shows start. I will say I miss the Philly area already, but knowing that there are great people all over the country that I now have a chance to hangout with on and off the track... 2007 will be great!

So last Saturday I flew up to Vanson Leathers for the day, I am proud to say that I have the oportunity to keep racing in their suits that are the safest racing suits out, period. Vanson wearing BMW riders can attest to that too. Mike, Kevin, and I went to eat at this Portugese place that was just stellar and from Philly to Mass. and now GA, I am feeling it! lol

While on my way to GA. I had an awesome experience stopping in Morton's BMW in VA.
Jeff, Steve, and Stuart (Mortons BMW service manager and 1983 BOTT Daytona race winner on a BMW motorcycle!) had a great time discussing the future of our bikes and just really showed optimism I have not seen many places. I look forward to seeing Morton's BMW and their crew this season when logistically and geographically I am in their area. There are many great BMW dealers that have been ultra supportive and during the course of 2007 I look forward to helping them out and vice versa.

Oh yeah, never have I ever had better BBQ so far than a little 50's place called Allman's near Mortons BMW!!! Mmmmmm mmmmm!

Hey everyone, ride smart and say hello when you can and I look forward to seeing youse at the IMS shows!

The 2006 race season has come to a close with the exception of a few track days and IMS shows....and then winter will be upon us. It's a long season in the northeast for any avid motorcyclist, but fortunately I have plenty to keep me busy. This past weekend, I traveled to BMW Atlanta and on to VIR for some track time. All those long hours in the car has allowed me time to reflect on some recent events. As the season closed I found myself in transition and was not sure how everything was going to play out in the future. It was a difficult time and things are looking up. I have been fortunate enough to have great support from BMWNA, and the BMW community. I have had the pleasure of meeting people who are friendly, supportive, compassionate and have a genuine interest in what I do. It's a great opportunity to share my passion of racing on an incredible machine and I am truly honored to be a part of such a great circle. I appreciate all the confidence you have in me and it's difficult to put it into words. I can only hope that you all know how sincerely thankful I am. I now look forward to 2007 !

p.s. Thank you for the emails regarding the little tip over late in the day at VIR. No it was not anything with the bike or track, just me pushing and not concentrating on my shifts. Im not out there to cruise around... Picked the bike back up and rode it back to the pits. BMW Motorcyles of Alanta do great work on my bikes, so no worries. I wish they were closer, lol.

Just wiating patiently for the AM to get here and get back out on the track. It seems like forever since Daytona. Looks good for decent weather. Tire warmers would have been a big help this time out for safety reasons. Team Pro Motion is running the day and seat time is valuable. TPM has always given the bast seat time around. Talk about seat time, driving down to Atlanta to get my bike and then back up here was some good "seat time". I have the proper final drive for VIR and this facility at VIR is always just a welcoming track! It is a riders track!

I sat around the hotel today watching a car club from N. Jersey run around.... Needed some action, so the go kart track here is awesome, not your run of the mill down the shore kart's.
That was a good time and then the off road rally course where the rain made it even more inviting had me see if an H3 could get within a top 5 laptime of rally cars purpose built for it.... LOL, it did well within and would have been good enough for 3rd in their last race, aw man!
Then I found this hill to see how much air could be reached in it.... :)

After some great pulled pork from a lil' hometown BBQ joint with friends I have not seen all season, now some correspondance with an even greater group of supporters and friends.

I need to turn some times tomorrow to burn off Aunt Millies "Cheeseburger pizza", trust me, delicious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its starting to get chilly here in Ardmore, PA. Its no Daytona! After many emails I have received I was hoping to hear from youse on your interest in riding together at a trackday or rally?! I will be leaving this week sometime for Atlanta to pick up one of my racebikes and then heading to VIR to practice with teampromotion.com
Then Dec.2 in north Fla. at Jennings Grand Prix track in Jennings, Fla., Dec. 16th at Roebling Road Raceway in Savannah, GA., and from there I dont know just yet. I do know tha I will finallyhave a chane to hangout with my West Coast friens and BMW riders as I will be at the Long Beach IMS show Dec. 10th through 13th.! I cant wait!

My affiliation with Main Line BMW has ended and I cannot thank them enough for their support and loyalty as it was mutual. I hope to be able to still send them customers and have the ability to help them with their #'s across the board. What hasbeen achieved through Main Line BMW would be hard to duplicate elsewhere. Now I am on a mission to help all dealers and give even more credibility to BWM motorcycles in the performance market.

Congrats is on order to the new owners of BMW Motorcycles of Las Vegas, they are in a "hot" spot and I wish the best in 2007! Of course San Jose BMW is right on par with their reputation of winning and to be able to share that with them is a whole nother level of success!
Morton's BMW in Va. and I will be together at their open house in Feb. and to share inthe fun and success is one of my very very valued and loyal sponsors, Vanson Leathers (vansonleather.com). Im really looking forward to that event!

Ok, here we go, need to train a little today and spend sometime with my new puppy!
