Alrightee then, where were we. So hey, the season is winding down in regards to racing, but the trackdays and involvement of our BMW riders is just getting started. This Monday we will be at Jennings GP for a personal training trackday with some BMW riders here in the southeast. I would like to do more of these days this off season, please contact Bill at BMW MC of Atlanta for more info.

VIR 2 weeks ago reinforced just how much more the R1200S has in it. The bike just keeps amazing me. With the direction I would like to go in racing and the opportunites next season, we are pushing the R1200S to the limits. Two 1st place finishes were great, but the 3rd in the 600 class and the 4th in the Unlimited Grand Prix, racing against the latest litre bikes the rising sun has to offer, we found another 2 + seconds inthe BMW R1200S (a little over 4 seconds @ VIR since accident!). The bike has not changed an ioda, we just pushed ourselves as a team in the pits, in practice, and during the sprint races to see where we can make progress. That momentum from the awesome race weekend, our BMW riders were able to take with them back to their local dealers and clubs as a victory of their own. Everyone was hanging over the front straight wall and with each pass to start a new lap, peripherally I could see everyone's excitement!

This past Monday was Morton's BMW's trackday at VIR. IT was in conjunction with Team Pro Motion track day club, and the sold out event for Morton's gave such a refreshing look at how excited BMW riders are! From F800's, RT's and K/R S's everyone was focused and wanted to learn. I have to say I was most impressed with a gentlemen from VA. on a new RT. Francois (sp?) was just so fluid and smooth and with this made him go go really good around VIR.
Got Road?(PP) and our other R1100S rider excelled alot in just that one 20 minute session alone.

With Daytona aproaching and then the WERA race for BMW MC's of Las Vegas Nov.3/4, we will be running up front as a team and enjoy the momentum going into the off season. IMS shows are a high priority and I hope to see everyone there.

Cheers,

N8!
